The Henry County Board of Education is now accepting applications for the 2020-21 school year for transfers under the state’s school choice laws — HB251 and SB10.
Transfers are permitted to students who are already residents of Henry County and whose families agree to assume transportation responsibilities for getting them to schools in different zones. Schools with available space will accept transfers, and the list of those schools has been posted on the district’s website. The list includes 18 elementary schools, four middle schools and six high schools.
Applications will be accepted through Feb. 28. For complete information and all requirements, visit henry.k12.ga.us.
