Sandy Springs officials want residents to talk to them about what should happen in the city’s next decade.
As the city celebrates its 2005 incorporation, city government has kicked off a planning effort dubbed “The Next Ten” designed to guide how the city should grow, develop and plan for mobility between now and 2025.
A series of meetings has been set up for resident input. An “open studio” dealing with Roswell Road will take place 5- 8 p.m. Oct. 14 at the Sandy Springs North Shopping Center, 6317 Roswell Road.
The meeting is designed to help shape a vision for the busy corridor. A series of mobile workshops are planned for Oct. 15 through 17.
As part of the process, city officials said they’ll update the city’s comprehensive plan and work up four smaller area plans.
