Roswell Finance Director Keith Lee has resigned to become director of financial services in Lawrenceville.
In a letter of resignation submitted May 26, effective June 9, Lee said, “My experience with the city of Roswell will have lasting memories, and the people I have worked with are an exceptional group.” His job has not yet been posted.
Lee joined the North Fulton city as strategic planning and budget director in March 2010 and had served as Roswell’s director of finance since May 2012, according to his LinkedIn posting.
His departure for Gwinnett County opens Roswell’s the third senior staff vacancy so far this year. Morgan Rodgers, former Recreation, Parks, Historic and Cultural Affairs Department director, left in April for a similar job in Alpharetta. Ex-City Administrator Kay Love departed in May to become municipal operations consultant at the Georgia Municipal Association.
