Sandy Springs officials said that Riverside Drive south of Johnson Ferry Road will be closed to traffic beginning Tuesday as the city begins work to realign an existing sharp curve on the road.
The project will include roadway construction and installation of guardrails and sidewalks, and is slated to be done by late August, weather permitting. During the work the Riverside/Johnson Ferry intersection will be closed and a detour will be in place with additional signage.
