Four separate bridge and culvert repair projects in Henry County’s District 1 moved forward three years ahead of schedule after approval for engineering design services was given by the Board of Commissioners at its Nov. 3 meeting.
The locations are: King Mill Road over Tussahaw Creek (culvert repair); Locust Grove Road over Indian Creek (bridge repair); Old Jackson Road over Tussahaw Creek (bridge repair); and South Ola Road over Tussahaw Creek (bridge repair).
All are approved SPLOST projects that were originally scheduled for 2018. Funding came through available cash from the available cash from District 1 McDonough Parkway project’s FY15 balance.
