Regents select North Georgia College president

The State Board of Regents selected Bonita Jacobs, an administrator at the University of North Texas, to be the next president of North Georgia College & State University. She begins July 1.

Jacobs is the executive director of the National Institute for the Study of Transfer Students at the Texas college.

She replaces David Potter, who is retiring.
