Johns Creek residents now have an excuse to show off their puppy's most outrageous outfit and clever tricks.
The city’s upcoming Pup-a-Palooza kicks off from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Newtown Park Amphitheater. The afternoon will highlight which area puppies are best in show, with contests such as “Best Dressed Costume” and “Best Trick.” Johns Creek residents can sign up their puppy for these contests on-site.
Pet owners can also enjoy live music, free food — OK, it's actually doggie treats, but humans will have something to grub on too — and caricature sketches with their fuzzy buddies.
Various vendors will attend to talk with pet owners about safety tips, grooming and new products.
