Public meeting on Pleasant Hill Road bridge construction

Feb 14, 2011

Gwinnett County and the Georgia Department of Transportation will hold an open house on the Pleasant Hill Road bridge construction project from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 24 at the Atlanta Marriott Gwinnett Place, 1775 Pleasant Hill Road, Duluth.

The public can ask questions about the project at the intersection of Pleasant Hill Road and Interstate 85. The intersection will have one of Georgia’s first “diverging diamond” interchanges, where drivers cross over to the opposite side of the road to improve traffic mobility.

Construction on the project is scheduled to begin in early 2012.
