The Powder Springs City Council has decided to spend around $349,000 for 15 projects.

They include:

  • $64,285 to Tucker Grading and Hauling to install sidewalk in the neighborhood park on Lancer Drive.
  • $43,442 to Always Cool Heating and Air to replace the heating ventilation and air conditioning system at the senior center facility, 4181 Atlanta St.
  • $41,845 to Mauldin and Cook Fence Company to install fencing within the neighborhood parks on Hopkins Road and Lancer Drive.
  • $40,500 to DAF Concrete, Inc. for road repairs on Richard D. Sailors Parkway.
  • $31,760 to Goodwin Mills & Carwood to complete the five-year update to the stormwater management plan.
  • $30,720 to Kennedy and Tillman to complete stormwater repairs on Mustang Drive.
  • $30,000 to Bonus Building Care for janitorial services at city facilities.
  • $20,750 to International Business Solutions Groups to complete stormwater repairs in the Silverbrooke and Deercreek subdivisions.
  • $17,550 to Peek Pavement Marking to stripe certain areas of Brownsville and Hiram Lithia Springs Roads.
  • $14,456 to Ardito Construction Company, Inc. for road repairs on Sharon Drive.
  • $6,500 to authorize Croy Engineering to provide design and engineering services for intersection and general street improvements for a crosswalk on Marietta Street.
  • $6,000 to Always Cool Heating and Air for thermostat replacement in certain city facilities.
  • $900 to place an ad in the annual Cobb Factbook.
  • $40/hour for up to 20 hours/week to Gargis Consulting for communication and public information services.
  • $40/hour for up to 12 hours/week to Alliance Strategies for advertisement creation and communication and message content related to annexation.
