The Powder Springs City Council will hold a workshop at 5 p.m. Wednesday and the topic will be the upcoming budget of about $7 million. City Manager Rick Eckert said that he is going to present some budget options to the council, but since it's a work session, no votes will be taken. Eckert said that because of falling property values, he's expecting a budget shortfall of about $500,000 or $600,000. The meeting will be held on the 2nd floor conference room at 4484 Marietta St.
