Powder Springs city officials are seeking permission from the city’s court to tear down property at 4241 Lewis Road as “unfit for human habitation,” according to a legal ad.
The city’s Community Development Director Pam Conner, who oversees code enforcement, said the defendants will have the option of improving their property to meet the city’s code requirements.
The hearing is scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday in the city’s court, 4483 Pineview Drive.
Defendants are Major Ross, Leatha Mae Ross, M. Kimley, Annette R. Wooten, Cobb Tax Commissioner Carla Jackson and Cobb County Probate Judge Kelli Wolk.
