Perimeter roadwork plans call for more lane closures, detours

The Georgia Department of Transportation advises of more lane closures and detours ahead as the reconstruction continues of the I-285/Ga. 400 interchange in the Perimeter area of Sandy Springs, Dunwoody and Brookhaven.

Traffic pacing is scheduled for 1:30 to 2 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday for eastbound I-285 from Roswell Road to Perimeter Center Parkway; westbound I-285 from Chamblee Dunwoody Road to Perimeter Center; and on Perimeter Center from Lake Hearn to Hammond drives.

From 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday-Friday, the ramp from westbound I-285 to northbound Ga. 400 will be closed; Monday-Thursday, the two right lanes or two left lanes of westbound I-285 from Peachtree Dunwoody Road to Glenridge Drive; and Monday-Thursday, the two right lanes or two left lanes of eastbound I-285 from Glenridge to Ga. 400.

Also, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday, one right lane of westbound I-285 will be closed from Chamblee Dunwoody to Ashford Dunwoody roads.
