Peachtree Ridge students win master gardener award
Students in the Peachtree Ridge High School Special Education Department have been chosen as the winners of the 2011 National Junior Master Group Service and Achievement Award.
The 16-student group will be recognized next month at the International Master Gardener Conference in Charleston, West Virginia.
They were also honored by Suwanee Mayor Dave Williams, who recently presented them each with a Certificate of Achievement for their work in designing and implementing a landscaping project at White Street Park.
