Peachtree Corners seeking volunteer for Zoning Board of Appeals
Peachtree Corners is seeking a volunteer to fill a vacancy on the Zoning Board of Appeals. The ZBA is a five-member board comprised of volunteers appointed by the city council.
The appeals board is a quasi-judicial board that meets at 7 p.m. the third Wednesday of each month for two to three hours each time. The board reviews and issues rulings related to variance requests and appeals of administrative decisions. Decisions of the appeals board are not subject to the review of city council and can only be appealed to Gwinnett County Superior Court.
Members of the Zoning Board of Appeals serve two-year, staggered terms. To apply submit your resume to dwheeler@peachtreecornersga.gov. Resumes will be accepted through June 30.
