The Peachtree Corners City Council agreed recently to award a design contract to TSW for the Town Green construction drawings.
TSW of Atlanta, the design firm that prepared the Town Green Concept Plan, will prepare the construction drawings for an amount not to exceed $234,800. Their work will integrate with the work being done by Fuqua Development for the remainder of the Town Center property. The proposed work, along with its timing, has to be coordinated so that the entire Town Center is developed as one, seamless project.
This fee was anticipated in the 2017 budget and is based on an estimated Town Green construction cost of $2 million. Work will begin on the construction drawings this month and should be completed by the Oct. 3 real estate closing.
