Now that graduations and political primaries are over, Peachtree City is reminding students and candidates that their signs have to come down.

Graduation banners can stay up until June 12, unless a permit fee was paid for a different time period. Political candidates whose races are over must remove their campaign signs immediately, but those who are competing in the July 26 runoff or the Nov. 8 general election may keep signs on private property until those races are decided.

Campaign signs left on city property or on rights-of-way violate state law and will be removed, with a sign recovery fee of $100 per sign.
