One Morrow City Council seat unopposed

The qualifying period to run for office in the Nov. 7 closed Aug. 23 in the city of Morrow. One seat will be on the ballot and another candidate is guaranteed the position, as she will run unopposed.

Qualified candidates for Council Seat - Post 1: teacher Junior S. Jackson and community activist Dorothy Dean who listed her occupation as retired.

Qualified candidates for Council Seat - Post 3: Renee Saunders Knight, a payroll specialists, will run unopposed.
