Mothers Against Drunk Driving Georgia has received a $129,575.34 grant from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety.

The grant, effective through September, will provide funding to reduce the occurrence of drunk and drugged driving throughout the state. The grant also will fund DUI prevention training for law enforcement, military, educational and community groups. Lastly, MADD Georgia will utilize these monies to partner with GOHS on signature initiatives such as Hand Across the Border, Click It Or Ticket and law enforcement recognition events, such as MADD Georgia’s Golden Shield Honors Banquet.
