The Norcross Development Authority and Economic Development department will hold two workshops this week of interest to new business leaders.
Economic Development director Rusty Warner and Development Authority operations manager Susan Warner will discuss the basics of commercial real estate 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 7 at the Norcross Cultural Arts Community Center, 10 College Street. The program is geared to individuals thinking about buying and selling commercial real estate.
The Small Business Risk Education Program workshop, cosponsored by The Southwest Gwinnett Chamber, will meet 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, July 9, at the Norcross Cultural Arts Community Center to help entrepreneurs learn about the necessity of a risk mitigation plan. Attendees will learn ways to decrease their amount of risk to insure their businesses succeed.
