Five public schools in Henry County will see a new face in the principal’s office in the coming year.

Julissa Forbes, former assistant principal at Henry County Middle School, is the new principal at Stockbridge Middle School. Former Woodland Middle School assistant principal Joycelyn Jackson is now that school’s principal. Tony Townsend is moving from the principal’s chair at Locust Grove Middle School to the same position at Locust Grove High School. Kevin Van Tone is moving from assistant principal to principal at Locust Grove Middle School. LaRita Wiggins, former assistant principal at Austin Road Middle School, is now the principal at Henry County Middle School.

There are also a number of new assistant principals at various schools: Michelle Banks, Woodland Middle School; Justin Castile, Impact Academy; Jennifer McCrary, Mt. Carmel Elementary School; Brian Merritt, EXCEL Academy; Whitney Pasch, Dutchtown Elementary School; and Andrea Perdue, Austin Road Middle School.
