New lights going up at Henry parks

The Henry County Board of Commissioners approved Sept. 1 the purchase of lighting at two facilities using SPLOST funds. A $27,500 purchase will provide lights for a new baseball field at North Ola Park, and $22,900 was allocated for security lighting at the Jason T. Harper Arena in McDonough, which county officials said should help cut down on break-ins at that locations.
