June 21, 2011A staffer with the Georgia Commission on Family Violence has been selected to run the group.
Greg Loughlin was named executive director of the commission after nine years on its staff, said the chair of the commission, Douglas County Juvenile Court Judge Peggy Walker. Loughlin also is co-chair of the Bishop’s Task Force on Domestic Violence for the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta.
The commission, created in 1992, certifies all Georgia family violence intervention programs and coordinates the statewide Domestic Violence Fatality Review project.
