More than 26,000 in DeKalb participate in telephone meeting on transportation

DeKalb County Chief Executive Officer and Decatur Mayor Bill Floyd recently led a phone discussion about transportation with 26,329 residents.

The one-hour call was one in a series of regional telephone meetings being held to gauge the public’s transportation priorities and concerns. The 10-county region votes in 2012 on whether to pay an extra penny in sales tax for transportation improvements across the region.
