If you’re a planner who loves fall, be sure to carve out some time Oct. 20.

That’s when the city of Milton is hosting a BYOP (Bring Your Own Pumpkin) carving event.

Carvin’ in Crabapple will be that Sunday at Broadwell Pavilion, 12615 Broadwell Road, from 2 to 5 p.m.

The city will provide carving kits and painting supplies to create spooky or silly jack-o’-lanterns.

The event is being run by the Crabapple Community Association and the city.

The city said to email Courtney Spriggs, community engagement manager, for more information at courtney.spriggs@cityofmiltonga.us.

Maybe you’ll make a friend, literally.
