The city of Milton’s planning commission will consider home and church developments at its meeting late this month.

Commissioners will weigh a possible rezoning from agricultural to townhouse to develop 77 townhomes on roughly 10.2 acres at 3501 Bethany Bend. Also under consideration: a Seventh Day Adventist group’s push for construction of a 37,500-square-foot church and a 13,000 square-foot private school. Involved is roughly 10.5 acres along Hopewell Road.

The board will also consider proposed standards and penalties for requesting demolition permits from the city.

The commission meets at 7 p.m. March 25 at city hall, 13000 Deerfield Parkway, Suite 107.
