The Milton City Council has awarded a contract worth up to $300,000 a year to an Alpharetta commercial landscape contractor to handle landscaping and grounds maintenance for the city’s parklands.
Tri Scapes Inc. beat out competing proposals from 10 other companies to maintain various city facilities and roundabouts as well as sports fields and Bell Memorial and Providence parks.
A selection committee made up of staff members of various city departments reviewed the proposals and recommended Tri Scapes as the most qualified vendor. The contract runs through Sept. 30, 2017, with automatic one-year renewals on Oct. 1 for up to four times, according to terms of the agreement.
