Drivers in Midtown Atlanta might soon get some relief from poorly-timed traffic lights. A $1 million grant from Georgia's Department of Transportation has been allocated to Atlanta's Department of Public Works for synchronizing traffic signals along several major corridors in the Midtown business district. The grant was on the agenda of the City Council's April 16 meeting.
