Georgia’s military and overseas citizens will be able to participate in the state’s upcoming presidential primary by e-vote starting later this month.
Secretary of State Brian Kemp says those voters can access their absentee ballot electronically starting Jan. 21 for the March 6 contest.
Kemp and Georgia National Guard Adjutant General Jim Butterworth will conduct a joint outreach and education effort to promote voting opportunities for military personnel and their families.

The University of Georgia has received a $1 million donation to create an endowment for the accounting program in the Terry College of Business.
The Deloitte Foundation’s donation will create annual funding to attract and retain quality faculty. It will also go to scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students, who will be called Deloitte Foundation Scholars.
UGA’s School of Accounting was one of the first in the nation to be established as a separate professional school within a college of business.
