Things are slowly getting back to normal, MARTA bus riders.
Shortly after the transit authority resumed limited bus service on 30 routes at 7 a.m. Friday, MARTA announced that all bus routes and Mobility paratransit vans would run on a Sunday schedule starting at noon Friday.
“Customers may experience extended waits on some routes and should allow extra time to complete their trips,” MARTA spokesman Lyle V. Harris said in an emailed release.
The buses will run on a Sunday schedule until 1 a.m. Saturday. MARTA’s rail service will continue operating on a weekend schedule on all lines.
Riders who travel between the North Springs and Airport rail stations on the Red Line in both directions must transfer at Lindbergh Center to reach their destinations. Wait times for trains should mostly range from 10 to 20 minutes, Harris said.
