Marietta school changes theme, goals

Marietta City's school board recently approved Park Street Elementary changing its academic theme. The school, which has been a "Community Collaborative School" will now be a S.M.A.R.T. (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Timely) Goals Academy. Under the new model, parents, students, teachers and administrators will work toward creating specific academic goals for students.
