The Marietta Board of Education will consider Superintendent Emily Lembeck’s budget recommendation at 6 p.m. May 12.
Then the board will decide whether to adopt the proposed budget at 7 p.m. May 19, hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. June 16 and make a final decision, also on June 16.
Limited to five minutes, those desiring to speak at a board of education meeting must submit written requests, with their topic, to Lembeck as early as possible but no later than 24 hours before the meeting.
These meetings are held at the Marietta City Schools Administrative Offices, 250 Howard St., Marietta.
