Marietta officials will hold a public review meeting at 11 a.m. May 22 at the city’s Community Development Office, 268 Lawrence St., Suite 200, Marietta to receive comments on the Community Development Block Grant Consolidated Plan/Action Plan.
That plan will be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Funding of $519,893 from CDBG and $100,000 of estimated program income will be allocated to various activities that serve the needs of low- and moderate-income residents of Marietta.
The breakdown is:
- Administration and Planning - $123,978.60
- Activity Service Delivery - $79,020.45
- Housing Rehabilitation - $100,000
- Acquisition/Infrastructure - $88,910
- ELD-Emergency Grant - $50,000
- Down Payment Assistance - $100,000
- Public Services - $77,983.95
A copy of the plan will be available for review at the public review meeting and at the Community Development Office, 268 Lawrence St., Marietta.
