Marietta to hold homeowner meetings on Oct. 9

Marietta first-time home buyers and homeowners, seeking home rehabilitation assistance, are invited to attend meetings this month on how to find assistance.

Meetings will be held by Marietta’s Community Development Division at 11:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Oct. 9 at the division office, 268 Lawrence St., Suite 200, Marietta.

Potential home buyers will receive qualification details for down payment assistance, mortgage lending and real property options.

Homeowners also will learn of options for addressing deferred maintenance problems within their homes.

Registration is not required.
