Man who died in one-car wreck in Douglas identified

Police have identified the motorist who died Wednesday morning in a single-car accident on Interstate 20  in Douglas County.

Chad Whitmore Armstrong, 33, of Temple,  died when the car he was driving ran off the highway and overturned between Lee and Fairburn Roads, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

The death may have been the result of a medical condition and not the crash itself, according to the state patrol.
