Some northbound lanes of I-285 in DeKalb County were shut down at Glenwood Road during a portion of the Wednesday morning commute.

“Multiple calls were received of a male walking in the roadway,” DeKalb police Capt. Stephen Fore told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

When officers got to the scene, the person in the roadway became combative, Fore said.

The man, whose name was not released, was taken into police custody.

“Everyone is OK,” Fore said. “All lanes should be open again shortly.”
