Mall of Georgia hosting free weekly yoga classes 

Need to loosen up and stretch after a long day at work? The Mall of Georgia has a free solution Tuesday evenings.

The mall is offering free yoga classes every Tuesday from Sept. 18 to Oct. 23 in the Village, its outdoor event space. The classes, led by YouFit Health Clubs, will be suitable for all ages and skill levels, according to a mall release.

The hourlong classes begin at 6 p.m., and participants should bring their own yoga mats. No pre-registration is necessary.

The Village hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including concerts, outdoor movies and festivals. It will have an ice skating rink starting in October, though no official start date has been announced yet.

Georgia finished No. 7 in community and environment. The state was No. 16 in work environment, finishing low in the metric of "income growth." Georgia was No. 25 in emotional and physical well-being, ranking 47th in sports participation.
