Lithonia has selected a former DeKalb County Police chief to be the head of its department.
Eddie J. Moody retired from the county in 2004 with more than 30 years of service. He has since worked in private security but expressed an interest to returning to the small city where he grew up.
City officials did not respond to requests for information about Moody’s salary.
