Gwinnett Commissioners approved renovations Tuesday for the heavily used Ronald Reagan Park, 2777 Five Forks Trickum Road in Lawrenceville. The 2014 SPLOST program and a federal $100,000 grant will fund the million-dollar contract with Multiplex LLC.
The work includes improvements to the trail system and three bridges, the dog park, skate park, parking, storm drainage, stream bank stabilization, and landscaping.
Chairman Charlotte Nash said, “We promised to use these SPLOST funds to maintain and improve our existing parks and this renovation of Ronald Reagan Park is a good example of how we’re delivering on that promise.”
