Lawrenceville aquatic center getting new HVAC system

Gwinnett commissioners agreed Tuesday to provide a new heating and air conditioning system for the Collins Hill Aquatic Center, 2200 Collins Hill Road in Lawrenceville. The $364,900 HVAC contract goes to low bidder, Waters Mechanical Inc.

The project includes selective demolition, removal of the existing HVAC unit and associated duct work, replacement of piping, valves and accessories, new controls and associated electrical integration, installation of new split system air handler and duct work, replacement of the outdoor condensing unit, installation of an overhead roll-up door and reconstruction of the second floor exterior wall.
