The Lawrenceville City Council voted recently to set a guaranteed maximum price of $6,045,567 for the site work on the Lawrenceville Public Works Facility. The approved package will cover site grading, erosion control, domestic water service, fire water service, storm sewer system, sanitary sewer system, asphalt paving, concrete curb and gutter and pre-engineered metal building.
The city is employing a ‘construction manager at risk’ delivery method which requires a commitment by the construction manager, in this case Reeves Young, to deliver the project within a guaranteed maximum price based on the construction documents and specifications. Reeves Young will provide professional services and acts as a consultant to the city in the design development and construction phases, and will review bidding for the individual components of the project to manage costs.
