Clayton House Inc., 110 Broad St. in Jonesboro has relocated to a larger facility south of the city off Tara Boulevard at 1560 Commercial Court, the former location of the Clayton County Police Academy. Working with Clayton County, the city of Jonesboro was able to obtain the building and negotiate an exchange of property with The Clayton House Inc.
The new facility is over 17,000 square feet (up from 4,800 square feet in the old location) and will afford Clayton House the opportunity to have enlarged meeting areas as well as providing potential rental space to assist with monthly operating expenses.
Clayton House Inc., a non-profit, offers regularly scheduled AA, Al-Anon, and Ala-Teen meetings for those in recovery. Information: 770-478-0191.
