Johns Creek closes Parsons Road sidewalk gap

The construction of five sections of sidewalk has closed a gap in Johns Creek’s sidewalk system along Parsons Road between Abbotts Bridge and Medlock Bridge roads, city officials said.
The sidewalks form an elementary school walking route; the installation of the sidewalk segments, five and eight feet wide, improves “overall safety and walkability in the area,” officials said as they announced the completion of the project.
The effort also entailed a lighted crosswalk between Stonegrove Overlook and the bridge over Johns Creek.
