The Georgia Department of Transportation will begin Sunday repaving a nine-mile stretch of Highway 74 North in the Peachtree City area of Fayette County, beginning at Aberdeen Drive. The project is expected to take 45 days and will involve milling the existing asphalt and repaving. Drivers should expect rough pavement until the final layer is asphalt is put down. The work will be done chiefly at night unless bad weather threatens the scheduled completion. Expect delays and use caution when workers are present.
