Henry winter fishing begins Saturday

The start of winter fishing season in Henry County will begin this weekend. Fishing will be offered every other weekend until March 1 when the regular season re-opens. Weekend winter fishing at the Henry County Water & Sewerage Authority’s Tussahaw Reservoir will be held this Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 21-23, Jan. 4-6, Jan. 18-20, Feb. 1-3 and Feb. 15.17. Hours: dawn until one hour before dusk. Anglers must be Henry County residents or property owners with an active HCWSA reservoir use permit. Permits are $45 or $25 for seniors and the disable and available at the authority’s headquarters, 1695 Highway 20 West in McDonough.
