Help save metro Atlanta cats by getting inked during ‘Tats for Cats’

Every tattoo should have a story.

For about the next week, your ink’s story could have an extra and unexpected chapter: It helped save a cat.

Twenty five percent of proceeds from all tattoos given at Monster Ink will go to the Good Mews animal shelter.

The campaign is named “Tats for Cats” and runs until June 14.

This is the third year Monster Ink has partnered with Good Mews, said Nancy Riley, who works with the animal shelter.

She said Good Mews, on Robinson Road in Marietta, usually makes about $1,000, which goes to things like food and medication for the cats.

The tattoo shop is located at 2840 Northeast Expressway NE off I-85 by the DeKalb-Peachtree Airport.
