Satto Thai and Sushi Bar scored a 35/U following the July 25 evaluation. Scores below 70 are considered failing. Its prior score, from December, was a 95.
According to the report, cakes for customers were prepared at an employee’s home. That violates the code that says food must be obtained from an approved source.

Officials also reported that an employee handled cooked spring rolls with bare hands and multiple employees donned new pairs of gloves without properly washing their hands first.
Manager Saiayuth Yuthasunthon said he's disappointed in the score, according to Channel 2 Action News. The restaurant is doing everything in its power to fix things, including staff trainings, Yuthasunthon told the television station.
Follow-up inspections are generally completed within 10 days of the original evaluation.
