A Hall County teacher who allegedly exposed himself to another teacher surrendered Wednesday afternoon.

The incident reportedly happened Friday at Johnson High School.

Hall sheriff’s Sgt. Stephen Wilbanks said a female teacher approached school officials and reported that Tony Ray Wilson, 47, of Buford, had exposed himself to her in a classroom.

Following an investigation, a warrant for Wilson’s arrest was issued Tuesday, charging him with a misdemeanor count of public indecency.

Wilbanks said Wilson turned himself in Wednesday. Wilson’s bond was set at $1,500.

According to the school's website, Wilson has been head baseball coach for the past eight years. He submitted his resignation to the school system Wednesday, The Gainesville Times reported.
