An exotic hairless kitten missing from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport has been found.

Rudy, a peterbald cat, was put on a flight from Seattle to Tampa with a connection in Atlanta, according to WWSB-TV in Sarasota, Fla.

The kitten was supposed to arrive at Tampa International Airport at 10 a.m. Thursday, but Rudy’s cage broke open, and the kitten escaped into the cargo area about 7 a.m. Thursday.

Tamsin Dayment, the owner, started a Facebook page to help find Rudy and offered a $2,000 cash reward for the kitten's recovery.

That’s where Dayment Monday morning announced the good news.

“RUDY HAS BEEN F O U N D,” she wrote in the Facebook post. “I am ecstatic and can’t (breathe) right now but he is found!!!!!!!!!!”
