The Gwinnett Village Community Improvement District is studying one of the area’s most critical arteries along Indian Trail-Lilburn Road. The developing plan will help guide decision-makers about transportation and land use changes to the areas near Indian Trail Road and Oakbrook Parkway between I-85 and Lawrenceville Highway.

Earlier this year the CID was awarded a grant from the Atlanta Regional commission to update the Livable Centers Initiative plan. This 10-year update will reevaluate the corridor and look at new projects and initiatives based upon current market conditions. The CID seeks to build upon existing plans and projects, and explore how to create a sense of place along the corridor through the creation of streetscaping guidelines.

The CID will be interviewing people along the corridor to get their feedback and hosting a series of public meetings in October, January and March.
