Gwinnett Board of Commissioners joined forces with Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful Tuesday to launch the Keep ME (My Environment) Clean campaign. The purpose is to meaningfully engage and actively motivate people throughout the community to become stewards of their surrounding environment.
In addition to potential environmental ramifications, both groups believe the physical appearance of the community can have wide-reaching economic and social impacts.
Unfortunately, leaders note many people may see the issue, but they don’t act because they believe these areas are someone else’s responsibility. The ME Campaign is designed to change people’s lack of involvement by inspiring a sense of ownership, spreading awareness, and providing opportunities for Gwinnett residents and businesses to take personal action.
